WORKSHOP INFORMATION

This tour will take your photography to the next level. A group of only 3 people is one of the unique points of this workshop. I always want to give each one of you my utmost attention. This is one of few workshops that covers the whole country, not just one or two regions.

Over the period of 10 days we will be photographing: Northern Lights (weather permitting), Sunset/Sunrise, Landscape photography with & without filters, Long exposure, Nature portrait. At the end of the day, you/we will work on your photos.

I'm a passionate teacher with many years of teaching experience. It thrills me when the people I'm working with are seeing their own improvements. This intensive photography workshop adventure is aimed at advanced beginners and intermediate level photographers. Complete beginners are very welcome, but I will help you in advance to get yourself familiar with the basic functions of your camera. The crash course before the departure will explain everything you must know before departure.

• Intensive pre-trip photography course (via Facetime/Whatsapp Video call or meeting in Zurich/Zug/Luzern) including PDF documentation for you to keep and use as a practicing guide prior or during the course.

• Intensive, personal photography guidance during the whole trip.

• Post-processing guidance / suggestions / help

• 10 days and 9 nights accommodation in double rooms with breakfast. When available, single rooms will be provided as well.

• Travel in a spacious 4x4 Jeep including pickup from and return to Keflavik airport (Please refer to Dates/Prices tabs for arrival / departure times suggestions).

• WiFi throughout the trip (Mobile Hotspot reception depending on the network coverage)

• 1x Entrance to Myvatn Nature Baths (weather permitting)

• Unforgettable time.

• Early bird discount deadline: 13th of November 2022

• Regular deadline 31st of December 2022

Rest of the payment

• Within 4 weeks of the deposit, but no later than 31st of December 2022

Cancellations

• 100% refund of the total workshop amount if you cancel until the 13th of November 2022.

• 95% refund of the total workshop amount if you cancel up to 4 weeks prior to the departure (6.1.2023 or earlier).

• 50% refund if you cancel 2 to 4 weeks prior to the departure (6.1.2023 - 20.1.2023).

• No Refund if cancelled after the 20.1.2023

Price

• Discounted price per person until the 13th of November 2022: 4150.- CHF (Swiss Francs) or ~ EUR 4100 or 4300 USD if you book before the 13th of November 2022

• Regular price per person from the 13th of November 2022: 4300.- CHF (Swiss Francs) or ~ EUR 4250 or 4450 USD.

• Are you a group of 3 friends or acquaintances that would like to travel together? Write to me for a full group quote.

• A deposit of 10% is required to guarantee your place. The deposit is subject to the cancellation deadlines. Please refer to Deadlines/Cancellation tab on this page.

• The prices shown in EUR/USD are the prices on the day of updating this website.

If you would like to make the payment in Euro or USD, please let me know in advance so that I can give you a direct quote in Euro or USD with the most current exchange rate.

Dates

• If possible, please book your arrival flight to arrive prior to 13.00/14.00 on the 3rd of February 2023.

• If possible, please book your departing flight after 14.00 on the 12th of February.

Is this workshop for me?

I believe that the best learning curve is when we are out of our comfort zone. If you are adventurous, hungry to learn and improve and want to go back home with knowledge and memories for a life time, then yes! This workshop is definitely for you!

If sitting in one region or on one location for 5 days hoping/trying to catch just 1 "perfect" photo of a sunset, then no, this workshop is not for you! No offence to anyone that is looking for that though.
