Personal, professional, and exciting photography workshop in Iceland. I focus on volcanic landscapes, glacial formations, waterfalls, and the Milky Way. 3 participants only. Become a better photographer this winter.
An 11-day winter expedition across Iceland. I build each route in real time around weather, roads, light, and the strongest photographic opportunities, so no two trips are ever the same.
The Journey
01 06 Feb - 16 Feb 2027
02 Group: Max 3 Participants
03 Season: Feb (Sportferien)
Possible Schedule
This is a possible schedule only. Every Iceland trip is personally built by me around the weather, road access, light, and real conditions on the ground. No two journeys are the same, and that is a real advantage: we keep moving toward the strongest locations instead of waiting at one or two spots for the weather to change.
Day 1 // Arrival & The North
Arrival in Keflavik. Transfer to our base. Welcome dinner and first Aurora hunting session if conditions allow.
Day 2 // The South Coast
Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. Sunset at Dyrhólaey lighthouse.
Day 3 // Black Beaches
Reynisfjara black sand beach. Basalt columns. Vík sea stacks.
Day 4 // Ice & Diamonds
Vatnajökull National Park. Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the Diamond Beach.
Day 5 // Vestrahorn
Stokksnes and the majestic Vestrahorn peaks.
Day 6 // The East Fjords
Driving through the dramatic coastlines and fjords of Eastern Iceland.
Day 7 // Myvatn & Godafoss
Exploring the volcanic landscapes of the North and the Waterfall of the Gods.

Venturing into the highlands to capture Aldeyjarfoss and Hrafnabjargafoss.
Day 9 // Snæfellsnes
Journey to the West to photograph Hvítserkur and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
Day 10 // Kirkjufell
Sunrise at Kirkjufell mountain and sunset at the Black Church of Búðir.
Day 11 // Departure
Return to Keflavik Airport for our flights home.

Expect -5°C to +5°C, constant wind, occasional snowstorms. Icelandic weather changes hourly. You travel in a heated Super Jeep with thermal gear. Not for the faint-hearted.
Yes, highly recommended. Trip insurance covers weather cancellations. Iceland can be unpredictable. I cannot guarantee aurora, but conditions guarantee amazing photography.
Absolutely! Beginners welcome if willing to learn manual exposure. I teach from basics: aperture, ISO, shutter speed, composition. Hiking fitness more important than camera knowledge.
If you choose the optional shared lodging, it is a mix of small guesthouses and a thermal hotel, charged at actual cost with no markup. You may book your own lodging instead. Comfortable beds, heating, and wifi are typical. It is not luxury.
