Privacy Policy
Introduction
This page describes what the current website files collect and where a form is sent. It is not a completed legal review of the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG), which came into force on 1 September 2023.
§1. Data Controller / Responsible Person
Business name: VaymanART
Person named for privacy questions: Daniel Vayman
UID: CHE-326.557.429
Email: contact@photoadventures.ch
Address on this site: Fridbachweg 9, CH-6300 Zug, Switzerland
Write to the email address above with a privacy question. This page does not decide the legal name of that role.
§2. General Data Collection
The pages do not run an account system or a database of form submissions. A form is sent by the browser as a POST to FormSubmit.co, using the address written in that form.
General contact form (contact.php), addressed to contact@photoadventures.ch. Required: first name, family name, email, and message. Optional: second name. This form has no terms checkbox.
Short message forms on the Zug and Astro pages, addressed to contact@photoadventures.ch. Required: first name, last name, email, phone, and message. These two forms have no terms checkbox.
Workshop inquiry forms on the Bernina weekend, Iceland, Norway, Spain, and France pages, addressed to contact@photoadventures.ch. Required: first name, last name, email, phone, message, and the terms checkbox.
Zug booking form, addressed to bookings@photoadventures.ch. Required: first name, surname, email, phone, one date from the list on the form, a payment preference (Twint, bank transfer, or cash), a checkbox that you have insurance for yourself and your equipment, and the terms checkbox. Optional: date of birth, postal address, camera, lenses, how you found the workshop, and a message. The form does not ask for a card number.
Astro booking form, addressed to bookings@photoadventures.ch. Required: first name, last name, email, phone, booking type (group or private), one date from the list on the form, an attendance confirmation, and the terms checkbox. Optional: interest in carpooling, offering carpool seats, a place the carpool would start, and a message.
Each form also sends technical fields used to deliver it: a subject line, an empty honeypot field, captcha and template settings, and the address of the next page. Forms with the terms checkbox also send terms_accepted, terms_version (the value in the form is 2026-10-13), and terms_accepted_at, which the browser fills with the time of submission.
You can also write to contact@photoadventures.ch yourself. The pages do not include a newsletter signup.
§3. Hosting & Server Log Files
These files are the site prepared for hosting. The operator has named Hostinger as the host. Hostinger publishes its own notice at www.hostinger.com/privacy-policy.
This website does not state which access logs the host keeps, whether an IP address is shortened, where those logs are stored, who can read them, or when they are deleted.
§4. Cookies & Tracking
The pages set one cookie themselves.
• site_lang: the language code selected on a page (en, de, es, or ch). The pages treat ch as German. The cookie is stored for 30 days on the path /. It is not a field in the forms.
localStorage in this browser: sound_enabled (whether the music control was last left on) and audio_time (the playback position, in seconds). The shared music script writes these keys. They stay in this browser until site data for this site is cleared. They are not added to the form posts. If storage is blocked, the script continues without them.
sessionStorage for the browser session: site_entered (whether the entrance screen was dismissed), saved_scroll_z and mobile_scroll_y (a position in the home tunnel), and keys beginning with rotation_ (which gallery images were shown). These are not added to the form posts.
Other requests the pages make:
• Google Fonts. The pages load Manrope, Syncopate, and Space Mono from fonts.googleapis.com. That request can include the IP address. The pages do not load Google Analytics, Google Ads, or a Facebook pixel. Google publishes a privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. This page does not describe what Google stores.
• FormSubmit.co. Contacted when a form is submitted. See §2.
The pages do not embed YouTube, Google Maps, or a social-media widget. Instagram in the home footer is a link to instagram.com.
You can block cookies in the browser. The language choice will not be remembered. The pages still open.
Whether a cookie or a font request needs consent is not decided here. The current pages do not show a cookie banner.
§5. Asking about your data
Swiss data-protection law may give you ways to ask about personal data, to ask for a correction, or to contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Which of those apply to a message sent from this site is not decided on this page.
This website has no account, no download of your data, and no automated export in CSV, JSON, or any other format. A question can be sent to contact@photoadventures.ch. The pages do not promise a reply within a set number of days, and they do not promise a particular file.
The forms do not have a separate marketing-consent switch.
§6. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure
The page code does not contain a function that sells or rents personal data, and it does not send form contents to an advertising or email-marketing service.
A submitted form is posted to FormSubmit.co so that it can be forwarded to the inbox named on that form. Font files are requested from Google. The host may process the connection; what the host does is not stated in these files.
The forms do not ask for permission to pass a name to a hotel, cabin, or other supplier, and the site does not send booking details to those suppliers by itself.
This page does not describe any other disclosure.
§7. Data Retention
These pages do not set a retention period for emails, booking messages, or invoices, and they do not delete data on a timer.
The language cookie is set to expire after 30 days.
sound_enabled and audio_time remain in this browser until site data is cleared. sessionStorage entries last for the browser session.
How long an email inbox, FormSubmit, Google, or the host keeps information is not stated here.
§8. Data Security
Where the published site is served over HTTPS, the browser encrypts that connection. These files do not contain a certificate or a hosting SSL setting.
Form contents are also sent to FormSubmit.co. This page does not describe that service's security measures, and it does not claim that email is end-to-end encrypted.
Who can open the inbox, besides the mailbox the form names, is not stated here. No method of transmission over the internet is guaranteed to be secure.
§9. International Data Transfers
Form posts are addressed to formsubmit.co. Font files are requested from Google. The named host is Hostinger. This page does not state the countries in which those companies store or read data, and it does not describe transfer safeguards.
If you write from your own email account, that provider also handles the message. This page does not assess that provider.
§10. Children's Privacy
The terms describe the workshops as open to adults. The forms do not ask you to confirm an age, except an optional date-of-birth field on the Zug booking form. The site does not check that field.
This page does not promise that information will be deleted within a set time if a parent writes about a child. The contact address is contact@photoadventures.ch.
§11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The date at the top of this page is the date of this text. The site does not run a mailing list and does not send a notice when this page changes.
